HoneyCoin needed to demonstrate NFC, card, M-Pesa, Airtel Money and POS payment experiences for marketing, product presentations and events. The challenge was to make those journeys easy to follow while accurately representing how the products worked.
The goal: help customers, partners and event audiences understand the payment experience.
I was the sole motion designer, responsible for concept development, storyboarding, 3D scenes, device interactions, transaction animations and final outputs.
Figma storyboards, Blender production, After Effects compositing, rendering and delivery.
Esther Kamau, HoneyCoin’s Senior Product Manager, helped prepare the creative brief and reviewed the work with product feedback.

Esther reviewed the visual assets and provided feedback throughout development. I managed production and revisions, delivering within tight timelines ahead of upcoming demonstrations and events.
Because the animations represented real payment journeys, product accuracy was a key requirement. Working with the senior product manager connected the visual production to the way those payment experiences actually worked.
The finished animations were used in HoneyCoin’s product demonstrations, marketing activities and public events.
Project scope, responsibilities and deployment are supported by the project record and Esther’s reference. The client feedback is qualitative; no conversion or revenue uplift is claimed.
